I have had an obscene amount of chocolate in the last few days. Hot chocolate, mocha, chocolate bar,cookie... overindulging thursday through saturday. yuck. the worst part of it all was that I did not even appreciate it all. I am just sabotaging myself - so frustrating!
Over the weekend I had two full days of snowboarding which gave me plenty of exercise and a number of colorful bruises. Monday I kept up with my exercise with a 3 mile (fast) walk.
Today has been my chocolate recovery day. Breakfast was tea, yogurt with slivered almonds and cereal and a small apple. Lunch was a large bowl of berries, asian slaw, and cottage cheese. For dinner I had a small salad with 1 tbs. dressing, a small bowl of vegetable soup and a ww lasagna Florentine.
Tomorrow I my yoga class starts and I am so in need of it!

ReplyDeleteI know how you are feeling, there is this big tendency once we start eating something to just eat it all, and look for more of it. ESP WITH SUGAR/CHOCHOLATE..I had 2 donnutes on Friday/Saturday (it was soo late on Friday that I am not sure what day to put it under) only thing I can say is you did great today/yesterday and you will get back in the grove..also does substitute choch. items work for you like NF hot coco that you make yourself? or starbucks has a sugarfree mocha that ain't half bad (I ask for 1 shot of pepermint, not the reg. 4 that they would put in)
a 3-mile fast walk... nice! You inspire me, if only I wasn't super sick right now.
