A little behind...

Thursday:
breakfast: yogurt w/ fruit and granola and coffee
lunch: Eating Right cheese ravioli and a vitamin water
dinner: we made tacos at home, I had two, and tea

Friday:
breakfast: oatmeal and coffee
snack: a 100 calorie bar
lunch: 2 tacos (leftovers) and lemonade
dinner: grilled cheese sandwich and a handful of fries (Carpos)
dessert: a Dove milk chocolate bar. 200 calories. I couldn't resist. But I think it's better than cake.

So this blog has really been helping me feel like I'm gonna be held accountable, which is great. I'm still struggling with making good choices when eating out, and with exercise.
But I have made some positive changes, like no more lattes in the morning (except Mondays, Mondays need an extra boost). I have a coffee maker in my classroom now, and I'm actually using it. That's probably a lot of calories saved, right? And I'm not buying any desserty foods, like cake or whatever, cuz that's my weakness. It's hard though, I definitely feel the pull when grocery shopping.

hey A- ok, so in regards to going out, yeah the problem is lots of restuarants cook with more oil and butter then we need..but your pretty good about portion control, get some more veggies in whenever you can and ask if they cook them with butter or what not..it's ok to be annoying (like me) they are getting paid for it after all...I am with you on not buying the swets, except for those choch. covered pretzels I downed last week, though I did throw the rest away...unless you are eating a super low cal cake, the dove bar is probably less calories...or if you eat a really small amount of the cake...those low cal puddings are OK (like 60 cals..)
