Joining the Cause!

In an effort to make better food choices, get in shape and well of course... lose weight, Alyssa has convinced me that this is the place to do it. I think its a good way to stay motivated and get some good ideas from you all on how to live a fitter and healthier life. So here I am!

I think I eat pretty healthy in general but I could stand to be a little more active. So this week I started walking for an hour everyday. Getting started was the hardest part but now I look forward to getting out there and its getting easier. In fact, when I went today I found that my usual route took me only about 40 minutes so I went a little further to make it a full hour. I'm hoping to start jogging a bit too but maybe I'll start that next week... I did buy new running shoes yesterday.

Anyway here's what I've had to eat so far today
B- coffee, fried egg w/ cheese, bagel, apple juice
L- pasta from last night (linguini w/ onions & bacon) water
for dinner we are going to some friends' house so I'm not sure what we're having. I'll keep you posted! =)
