Home alone

It has been interesting to observe my eating habits since Dan has been off on business. Though he does not mean to be, he is a bad influence, he is as skinny as can be and can eat anything. He eats large portions and full fat anything. He also sees eating as a a bit of a chore, many days he does not eat much until the evening when I am home.
I have not been eating too much at night but I have had some pretty rich dinners like mac and cheese. I also found my self at the bakery this week with two pastries, I took one to go after I realized what I ordered, then I did not eat it, so basically I bought myself some guilt. So, I am not perfect on my own but I am listening to my body more and drinking lots of water and eating more fruits and veggies. When I get my sweet tooth at night I have been enjoying yoplait whips in raspberry or a sugar free fudgesicle and then brush my teeth so that minty taste keeps me from wanting more (because it will taste gross!)

breakfast: 2 eggs, apple and 1/2 and english muffin.
lunch: vegetable soup 1 sm. slice of bread and salad w/ vinaigrette.
dinner will be: soup, a chicken breast and green beans. and a glass of red wine.

it sounds like you're doing pretty well, being aware of your choices. I know I'm way worse when Mark isn't around - mac & cheese becomes my best friend :)
thanks for the drink tips - I do like gin & tonics.
and thanks for the bday card! you're so sweet!

Cait! you are doing great, bought the pastry, then re-thought it, I know I have had those moments, then eat it, then feel guilty, so I eat another..so good job on standing strong...and skinny boys are tough..
